MpgEdit is an audio editor ready to process coded files both for Constant Bit Rate: CBR and the Variable Bit Rate: VBR. It also lets you cut MPEG exit files, that you can join to create a new file. As it doesn`t work with file decoding, you don`t lose sound quality as you edit.

MpgEdit offers the best options for this type of program, and also includes a graphic representation of the MP3 file volume levels, that can be edited.

What is interesting is the interactive editing mode, especially when using playback: you can choose the option to select and verify the start and end of the edit.
